Dr. Sam Jejurikar is a board-certified plastic surgeon in Dallas. He is a member of the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute, the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is an expert in cosmetic surgery and a specialist in facial and body procedures. He strives to give his patients natural-looking results by avoiding the standard plastic surgery approach. He has a compassionate bedside manner, passion for plastic surgery, and great attention to detail. He develops a customized treatment plan for each one of his patients.
He is expanding his education and training to incorporate better techniques into his practice. He is currently attending Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business to earn a Masters in Business Administration.
Dr. Jejurikar was raised in Minnesota. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School. He graduated as an Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society member. For eight years he received specialized training in plastic surgery at the University of Michigan. He then spent a year at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City. He has earned fellowships and research grants from organizations like the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation and the National Institutes of Health Training.
He is involved with the Multisociety Gluteal Fat Grafting Task Force. The task force is addressing the unnecessary complications of gluteal fat transfer procedures. Dr. Jejurikar has spoken at domestic and international conferences about the need to observe safety measures. He publishes his own blog about safety and the need for sufficient training. He has also travelled to Central America, South America, and Asia on charitable missions to help people with cleft lips and cleft palates.
